QT FM Public File
As a responsible UK broadcaster, QT FM is committed to transparency regarding our programming, music content, and station guidelines. This Public File contains information to give you a better understanding of our output and how we operate.
1. News & Weather Bulletins
We are dedicated to keeping our listeners informed throughout the day. We broadcast national and international news bulletins at the top of the hour, provided directly by Radio News Hub, alongside hourly weather updates generated by our own dedicated weather team. For our latest written news updates, please check the News & Weather section of our website, which is updated 24/7 via BBC News feeds.
2. The Music We Play & Schedule
QT FM provides "Real Music Variety" 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our core music policy is a carefully curated mix of the 80s, 90s, and Today's Hits.
Throughout the daytime, you will hear a seamless mix of these decades. In the evenings, our schedule shifts to dedicated genre programming:
- 8:00 PM: 80s Meltdown (80s only)
- 9:00 PM: 90s Only
- 10:00 PM - 12:00 AM: The Love Zone
Our programming also features live, presenter-led shows such as The Big Saturday Breakfast with Andy Edwards and Kev's Top 40 Retro Chart Show. To view our full weekly broadcast schedule, please visit our What's On page.
